A photographic guide to Frank Lloyd
Wright extant structures
297 – Curtis Meyer
Residence, 11108 Hawthorne Drive, Galesburg, Michigan
Photographed in August 2006. This is another planned community in which
four homes were built on a single street (the Parkwyn Village (#298-301) subdivision
in nearby Kalamazoo is another). Although
originally designed as the Galesburg Country Homes, the subdivision is now
known as The Acres, and its entrance signs gives a nod to FLW with its red
squares. The homes in this subdivision
are the David I. Weisblat home
(#294), the Eric Pratt
residence (#295), the Samuel
Epstein residence (#296) and this, the Curtis Meyer home (#297).
